VI Peel:

One of the chemical peels we offer is a VI Peel, which is a medium-depth peel that works on all skin types and tones and can treat a variety of cosmetic issues. The VI Peel removes the damaged surface layers of the skin on the face or body using a blend of trichloroacetic acid, salicylic acid, vitamin C, phenol, and retinoic acid. This formula promotes cellular turnover and helps to reduce wrinkles, acne scars, age spots, hyperpigmentation, enlarged pores, and other skin issues.

Enlighten Peel:

We also offer the Enlighten Peel, which is a treatment that takes place over 28 days. This peel specifically targets issues like hyperpigmentation, sun damage, melasma, and other forms of skin discoloration. The Enlighten Peel works by halting melanin production and exfoliating the top layer of facial skin. As a result, the discolored pigmentation is brought to the surface, which encourages cell turnover. This provides both short and long-term skin tone improvement.

The Treatment: What to Expect

If you decide to try the VI Peel, the peel will be applied to your face at our facility, and you’ll be able to head home shortly after. However, you will need to keep the peel on your skin for at least four hours. After you’ve washed it off, you’ll need to follow specific aftercare instructions to ensure optimal results.

The process is a bit different for the Enlighten Peel. First, the peel will be applied to your facial skin at our facility in a process that will take around 20 to 30 minutes. You’ll be able to head home after that, but you must keep the peel on your face for eight to 12 hours. Then, over the next 28 days, you will regularly apply products that we provide to your facial skin. There will be specific instructions for how to properly use these products and achieve the best possible results.

Recovery from Chemical Peels

Generally, there is no recovery downtime necessary after undergoing chemical peel treatment.
